Hot Chocolate and Snow ..

We are getting ready for the first snow in the Carolinas. 2017. And they promise it will be a big one. To a East Coast Carolina Girl, any  snow is big . The water and bread shortage has begun and the snow doesn’t arrive until midnight. Other necessities like wine, movies, evaporated milk and sugar  can still be found. A favorite in Carolina is snow cream. And my mother made the best. A recipe close to hers is made by Mama Peggy. Click to enjoy her recipe. Mama Peggy  . I love hot chocolate and my plans are to put the crockpot on and settle in with a scrumptious cup of peppermint hot chocolate and catch up on  my kindle unlimited books. Awwww.
